As part of its activities in helping to provide safe drinking water for communities thereby contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of providing access to clean and safe drinking water, DAQVAH CHARITY FOUNDATION has on 1st January 2017 launched a water well project for people of Mabain Village, BKM Chiefdom, Port Loko District. The project aims at putting an end to the way women and children have been dying out of drinking contaminated water. Women and children have also been walking long distances to fetch water from nearby villages.
Mabain is a village whose residents are struggling to fetch water that is clean and safe. The residents lack the skills of water purification thereby contacting many diseases. DAQVAH CHARITY FOUNDATION has been helping this community and other communities with bundles of water as a temporal intervention. Kindly send your contributions to help the foundation to complete this water well project and several pending water well projects. Remember, the Prophet said, the best charity is water.
