DAQVAH Charity Foundation an Islamic charity organisation has on Thursday 27th May, 2021 completed the distribution of Examination materials to 6 primary schools NPSE candidates in Rogbla and Kalamgba sections in Bureh Chiefdom, Port Loko District.
Donating the materials on behalf of the CEO, the Focal Person for Port Loko District, Bro. Tejan Ayoub Joaque extended greetings from the management and staff of the foundation to the pupils and school authorities.
He informed the beneficiaries that, the foundation has been giving similar support to all the primary schools in Maconteh chiefdom for the past five years but this year Bureh Chiefdom was chosen by the will of Allah to benefit.
He continued that, the donated materials which are pens, 2B pencils, erasers, sharpeners and mathematical sets are a way of complementing government free and quality education initiative.
He cautioned the beneficiaries to make good use of the materials in taking their exams.
He concluded by asking Allah to strengthen the candidates with wisdom and understanding to pass their exames.
Receiving the items on behalf of the pupils of DEC Primary School Mamanka, the head teacher Mr. Davies thanked the foundation for choosing his school to benefit from the donation this year.
“For the past years, head teachers from Maconteh chiefdom had been informing us about the work of this foundation on to the recent donation of school bags, books and Shoes to other schools. Now that you have come to Bureh Chiefdom, I pray that you come to stay'” he concluded.
One of the pupils of DEC Primary School Rokon, Fatmata Bangura thank DAQVAH for such donation at this time when the exams is few hours away and most of their parents cannot afford to buy them the mathematical sets as things are very much difficult for their parents.
She called on the foundation to continue the good work to help promote education in this part of the country.
She concluded by asking his colleagues to offer special prayers for the foundation and to also inform their parents to be praying for the foundation.
