Mariatu Sedik Kamara graduated from the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone in 2019 with a BA in Mass Communications. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Human Resources from Udemy and in 2008 she earned a Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology. Mariatu holds several certificates in leadership and administration.

Madam Kamara has worked for several institutions including the Search for Common Ground, Talking Drum Studio, where she worked as a Media Producer, producing different radio drama and magazine programs.

Mariatu has served as the Executive Director of the foundation since its inception
