On March 28, which marked the eighteenth day of Ramadan, DAQVAH implemented its usual Ramadan Caravan Feeding program. 250 Muslims at Garrison Street and Eastern police benefited from the distribution of packs of rice, water and drinks from the DAQVAH Charity Foundation Caravan Feeding program.
The purpose of the distribution, as said by the Programs Unit, is to provide iftar for many needy Muslims who find it difficult to get food during the time of breaking their fast. “Many would not have extra cash or the chance to buy food and therefore providing a prepared package of food, drinks and water is important in aiding them to break thier fast before reaching their different destinations,” said the Programs Manager, Yussouf Abass Jalloh.

Muslims who were in these vehicles to their various destinations were happy to receive the packages as they said the food provided will help them in breaking their fast.
Recipients were happy to recieve the food packages. Lot of prayers were made for continued support.
The distribution ended successfully in both locations.
The funders of the third Caravan implementation are those who participated in the Empty Bowl Challenge that is targeting every Muslim to donate at least Le 40 to feed a fasting person during this blessed month of Ramadan.
