In a move aimed at increasing visibility and fostering a sense of unity, the staff of DAQVAH, a leading community charity foundation, have begun wearing the organization’s T-shirt every Wednesday. This initiative is part of the foundation’s broader effort to promote its mission and enhance its presence within the community.

The DAQVAH T-shirts, emblazoned with the foundation’s logo and colors, symbolize the staff’s commitment to the organization’s values and goals. By wearing these T-shirts, staff are not only showcasing their pride in the foundation but also serve as walking ambassadors, making the foundation’s work more visible to the public.
Wednesdays have now become a day of heightened recognition and engagement for the foundation. As staff go about their daily tasks, whether in the office or out in the community, the distinctive T-shirts draw attention and spark conversations about DAQVAH’s various programs and initiatives.

Executive Finance Director, Mariatu Sedik Kamara, highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating that “wearing our foundation’s T-shirt every Wednesday is a simple, but yet powerful way for our staff to demonstrate their dedication and unity. It helps us connect with the community, raising awareness about the work we do as a foundation as well inspiring others to join our cause.”
The foundation’s work spans a wide range of areas including educational outreach, feeding initiatives, and social welfare programs.

Community members have already responded positively to the initiative, with many expressing increased awareness and interest in DAQVAH’s activities. The foundation hopes that this small but significant step will lead to greater community engagement and support for its mission.
As DAQVAH continues to expand its reach and impact, the weekly visibility initiative serves as a reminder of the power of unity and the importance of staying connected with the community it serves.
