DAQVAH Supports Rawdon Street Masjid Umar Bin Khatab with food for Iftar

Freetown, Sierra Leone – In a heartwarming gesture, DAQVAH has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting the community by donating essential supplies to the Rawdon Street Masjid Umar Bin Khatab. The team was introduced by Yussouf Abass Jalloh, the Programs Manager, who warmly greeted the Jamaat.

“Today, we are here at your Masjid to donate bags of rice, bundles of water and cash to aid in the everyday cooking for those who come to break their fast,” announced Abdul Aziz Bah, the Data and Research Manager. “It is a tradition at DAQVAH to support Masjids during this holy period, and all we ask in return are prayers for our generous donors,” he concluded.

The heartfelt appreciation for the contributions was laudable. “This is no small donation—5 bags of rice, water, and cash to help the Masjid and its visitors. We pray that Allah grants the donors abundant rewards,” said brother Abass, an executive member of the masjid.

Imam Dawud Y Kargbo of Rawdon Street Masjid expressed profound gratitude. “Rawdon Street is part of DAQVAH, and every year we receive donations from you. DAQVAH is our first priority at this masjid. May Allah continue to upgrade the foundation.”

DAQVAH’s continued support ensures that vulnerable Muslims receive necessary aid during the holy month. Contributions from the public are encouraged to keep this benevolent tradition alive. Donations can be made to 076363131 or 090363131 to help feed vulnerable Muslims during this sacred time.
