DAQVAH Extends Ramadan Support to Abubakarr Quranic Centre and Widows in Makeni
The DAQVAH Charity Foundation staying true to its mission of aiding the vulnerable, delivered essential Ramadan support to the Abubakarr Quranic Centre and widows in Makeni. This act of generosity is part of the foundation’s larger commitment to helping women, children, and Islamic learning centers during the holy month.
In a pleasant atmosphere filled with love, smiles and Takbir (glorifications of Allah), the children of the Abubakarr Quranic Center, teachers and community members welcomed the DAQVAH team in Makeni.
Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, the CEO and founder of DAQVAH, reflected on the foundation’s growth, saying, “Nine years ago, we began this initiative with just 42 members. Today, we are proud to have over 5,000 members across 19 countries. As part of our efforts, we strive to reach those in need, particularly during Ramadan when many face challenges obtaining Iftar and Suhur.” He ended by saying they were delighted to support the center with bags of rice, bundles of water and cash to help observe the sacred month of Ramadan.
Abdallah A. Kamara, the Supervisor of the Abubakarr Quranic Centre, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the center. “We are overjoyed to see members of DAQVAH here with this generous donation. May Allah accept this charity and grant endless rewards to all who contributed to the Empty Bowl Challenge. May Allah also grant you traveling mercies,” he stated.
Mamusu Conteh, one of the widows supported by the foundation, shared her appreciation, saying, “You remembered us for the sake of Allah. May Allah reward the foundation and its donors. We are grateful, and may Allah grant us all Jannah.”
The beneficiaries offered prayers for DAQVAH and its donors, underscoring the significance of the foundation’s efforts during Ramadan. This initiative continues to bring hope and relief to those in need, inspiring generosity and unity throughout the community.
