DAQVAH Extends Ramadan Support to Eastern Technical University and Central University

Continuing its mission to reach underserved communities, DAQVAH Charity Foundation visited Eastern Technical University in Kenema and Central University at Mile 91 to distribute essential items as part of its Ramadan Empty Bowl Feeding Program. The donation included bags of rice, bundles of water, and cash to aid the Muslim Jamaats during the holy month of Ramadan.

Upon arrival at Eastern Technical University, the DAQVAH team was warmly welcomed by students modestly dressed and holding the Jamaat banner at the entrance of the University. The president of the Muslim Jamaat delivered a heartfelt welcome address. In response, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, Chief Executive Officer of DAQVAH, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. “This welcome strategy is beautiful, and I truly appreciate it as this is the first time we are having such a huge reception.” He explained that the charity foundation was established in July 2015, with an aim to reach the unreachable, especially women and children who are most vulnerable in society. He added that “This is the first time we are reaching out to your university, and we are here with bags of rice, water, and cash to support the Jamaat during Ramadan. We hope the relationship continues we ask for your prayers for our donors and the foundation.”

Ansumana Eggie, President of the Eastern Technical University Muslim Jamaat, expressed his profound gratitude. He added that the support would boost the Iftar of the Jammat and that receiving staff of DAQVAH was a great pleasure of the association. “May Allah reward you abundantly,” he ended.
At Centre University in Mile 91, Osman Janneh, Imam of the Muslim Jamaat, shared his appreciation. “We are excited and blessed to receive this kind of goodness. DAQVAH is not new to us, as we have been receiving support from you in the past, and for that, we are grateful. May Allah continue to bless the foundation, its members, and donors,” he remarked. As a token of gratitude, he presented a certificate of appreciation to DAQVAH for its tireless efforts to support needy communities across the country.

In conclusion, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh thanked the Jamaat for the certificate, acknowledging it as a pleasant surprise. “May Allah bless you all,” he stated.
The event concluded with heartfelt prayers from the students for DAQVAH and its generous supporters, further highlighting the foundation’s impact during this blessed month.
