DAQVAH Aids NUMSA With Iftar Support

DAQVAH Charity Foundation has once again proven its dedication to serving Muslim students in need, as it implemented its Ramadan Empty Bowl Feeding Program to the Njala Union of Muslim Students Association (NUMSA) in all the three campuses; Kormama, Torwama and Mokonde. This year, the foundation brought rice, bundles of water and cash donations to support the students during the holy month of Ramadan.

Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, the Chief Executive Officer of DAQVAH, expressed the foundation’s longstanding commitment to NJALA University. “DAQVAH is not new to you. We have been supporting the three campuses since the inception of DAQVAH. Like every Ramadan, DAQVAH is here to gift you with bags of rice, water, and cash to assist with the Iftar process. All we ask in return are prayers for our donors and the foundation,” he stated.

The donation was met with overwhelming gratitude from the students and university leaders. Bockarie Makaya, the Deputy Imam at Njala Mokonde shared his heartfelt appreciation, saying, “We, the students, are extremely happy. It is really hard for us outside Ramadan, let alone during Ramadan. We were worried about how we would survive in the coming days, and Alhamdulillah, Allah brought you to us. As you have put smiles on our faces, we pray that Allah puts smiles on yours and continues to uplift the foundation and its donors.”

Ahmad Bah, Imam at Torwama campus, emphasized the timeliness of the donation. “Every day we have Iftar, and this donation is truly appreciated. As Allah has told us, every day two angels come down and make dua for those who spend for His sake. We pray Allah accepts this for you and blesses the foundation and those who contributed,” he said.

Ibrahim Rogers, President of Paramedics Njala Kowama campus reflected on the longstanding partnership between DAQVAH and the university. “DAQVAH and NUMSA have been in partnership for quite some time now, and we believe in the work of the foundation. Every year, we look forward to your donation. As students who are fasting, we are truly excited to receive this kind of goodness. May Allah continue to open doors of opportunity for the foundation and provide for its members and donors,” he stated.

The event concluded with prayers from the students, who expressed their immense gratitude to DAQVAH and its supporters.

NB: To join in supporting this noble cause, donate a minimum of Le 50 to 076363131 or 090363131 and help feed a fasting person during this blessed month of Ramadan.
