DAQVAH Implements Ramadan Empty Bowl Feeding to Orphanage & Madrassa

As part of its mission to support vulnerable communities, DAQVAH, an Independent Islamic Charity Foundation, has extended its generosity to two orphanages through its Ramadan Empty Bowl Feeding program. This initiative reflects one of the foundation’s core areas of intervention—caring for orphans. DAQVAH upholds the belief that those who support orphans will stand close to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in Jannah.

Leading the distribution effort, Yussouf Abass Jalloh, Programs Manager of DAQVAH, introduced the team and shared the foundation’s purpose. “We are here to support you with bags of rice, bundles of water, and cash to help the orphans during this blessed month. Kindly remember us in your prayers,” he concluded.

Markas Muhammad Ibn Alie founder, Abdul Rahman Jalloh expressed gratitude towards the CEO of DAQVAH who facilitated the donation. “May Allah reward you all,” he added, acknowledging the collective efforts that made this contribution possible.

At the Ansarul Islamic Orphanage in Deep Eye Water, the founder, Mohamed Boye Jalloh, warmly received the donation and thanked DAQVAH for their generosity. He remarked, “As DAQVAH has remembered us, may Allah remember them and accept this charity.” The orphans joined in offering heartfelt prayers for DAQVAH and its supporters, extending their blessings for the noble initiative.

As the program continues, DAQVAH encourages further support for its mission. With just over a week left in Ramadan, donors are invited to contribute by contacting 076363131 or 090363131. Together, these contributions can help “Feed a Soul” and make a difference during this sacred month.
