Mufti Menk in one of his videos shared his experience in Nigeria as he witnessed a fundraising dinner in which they needed 6 million dollars to construct a Masjid. He said that the 6 million dollars was not raised in a day or hours but it was raised “in few minutes.”

Sadly, in Sierra Leone we take ages to raise funds to build our Masjids when we have overwhelming Muslim population.

Well, we are not Muslims in Nigeria, but we are Muslims in Sierra Leone and we want to give a try to use 24hours to raise Le 100,000 ($4,200).

Yes, the DAQVAH Charity Foundation is organizing a fundraising day to mark its 10 year of existence. And DAQVAH is calling on all its over 6,000 members and the Muslims in Sierra Leone to donate at least Le 50 ($2.1) this Friday 18th July, for the purpose of securing land to construct DAQVAH office. Let’s be determined and yes we can do it as Sierra Leonean Muslims.
