Surprise Visit: CEO of ANIQ Modesty Graces DAQVAH’s Office

Freetown, August 5, 2025 — In a warm and inspiring moment at DAQVAH Charity Foundation, the team welcomed Madam Aisha Bah, the CEO of ANIQ Modesty, Sierra Leone’s first Islamic clothing and hijab line, to the foundation’s headquarters on Monday morning. Her visit, though unexpected, was deeply meaningful & appreciated, affirming the spirit of partnership and gratitude following the successful Ramadan Clothing & Hijab Distribution Project.

Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, the Chief Executive Officer of DAQVAH, officially welcomed Madam Bah and expressed sincere appreciation for her generous support during Ramadan. He recognized her pivotal role in ensuring the project’s success, where 300 hijabs were distributed to DAQVAH to support Muslim women in need. He concluded his remarks with heartfelt duas, praying that Allah continues to bless her affairs & strength the partnership.

During the visit, DAQVAH staff and interns introduced themselves and guided Madam Bah through a video recap showcasing the packaging and distribution journey of the Ramadan clothing & hijab initiative. The footages highlighted the hands-on efforts by volunteers and the beautiful impact made possible through ANIQ Modesty’s contribution.

In her response, Madam Bah shared her heartfelt reflections stating, “I’m truly grateful to Allah for giving me the thought to reach out to DAQVAH during Ramadan. Collaborating to help Muslim women to look and feel beautiful on Eid was such a blessing. Fundraising wasnt easy, but Alhamdulillah, I was able to raise funds for 700 hijabs.” She added that seeing the implementation afterward truly moved & motivated her the more. She thanked DAQVAH for their relentless efforts and ended by saying, “We don’t get paid to do this but our reward is with Allah.”

The Executive & Finance Director, Mariatu Sedik Kamara joined in the appreciation, thanking Madam Bah on behalf of the entire team. “We truly value this visit and your incredible gesture. May this collaboration continue not just in this world, but also in the hereafter.”

The visit concluded with a symbolic thank-you gift from DAQVAH, underscoring the organization’s core values of appreciation, partnership, and faith. Group photos and final prayers wrapped up the heartfelt encounter, leaving the DAQVAH family inspired and grateful for the shared commitment to uplifting the community.
