DAQVAH provides food to Widows at Rosarr village.

DAQVAH Charity Foundation has on the first day of Ramadan donated bags of rice, bundles of water and cash donations to 15 households benefiting 49 Muslims. This donation was done at the Rosarr Village, Maconteh Chiefdom benefiting widows primarily.

DAQVAH’s focal person, Ayoub Joaque introduced the team and reminded the beneficiaries of a key distribution that DAQVAH did a year ago within their community which was the school pack project of which many of their children benefited from school bags, books, pens etc.

Speaking during the distribution, the Project Officer of DAQVAH, Hawa Conteh informed the beneficiaries that they are in their community to give support to vulnerable Muslims to enable them observe the blessed month of Ramadan. She continued that the foundation has been supporting communities in the Maconteh Chiefdom and other chiefdoms within and outside the district with food, water wells, clothing, education support etc. in and out of Ramadan. She emphasized on the need to support Muslims during Ramadan especially during these trying times.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Posseh Kamara, a widow, thanked DAQVAH for the donated items and expressed how happy the whole community was. She prayed that Allah continue to provide for the donors so that more donations is made to more vulnerable people.

Supplications were made by the beneficiaries for DAQVAH and their donors.
