On Thursday 30th July 2020, DAQVAH charity foundation continued it’s every year clothes distribution to Imams and Women in Maconteh chiefdom, Port Loko District.
During the distribution, the focal person of the foundation in Port Loko District, Bro. Ayoub Joaque informed beneficiaries that he was doing the distribution on behalf of the foundation as that was the second time DAQVAH was distributing clothes in Maconteh chiefdom, and that the clothing Project is a Project the Foundation implements twice every year; one is prior to Eid-Ul-Fitr and another, prior to Eid-Ul-Adha. He continued that the distribution was done so as to help Muslim brothers and sisters perform their EID prayers with joy. He called on beneficiaries to remember the donors during the EID prayers so that Allah will continue to provide for them and in turn continue to support the foundation.
The local court chairman of Mabain village, Abdulai A Conteh thanked DAQVAH on behalf of his people for the distribution as he said that the distribution came at the right time when people were contemplating on clothes to put on to perform the EID prayers the following day.
“This is one of the happiest days in my life, as I have been wondering on how to perform the EID prayers tomorrow without any new clothes. But with the blessings of Allah, DAQVAH has made my dream come true”, said Kadiatu Turay, a widow in Mabain.
The Imam of Kayimbor village, Abu Tejani thanked DAQVAH for the distribution and prayed that Allah continue to provide for the donors and the foundation. He concluded by making Du’ah (Supplication) both for the donors and the foundation.
