DAQVAH charity foundation has on Tuesday 28th July, completed the donation of examination materials such as Mathematical sets, Pens and 2B Pencils to vulnerable NPSE candidates in Maconteh Chiefdom, Port Loko District. 160 NPSE candidates in Maconteh chiefdom benefited from the distribution.
Presenting the materials at the SLMB Primary School in Rogbesseh, the CEO, Alhaji Abdulrahman Jalloh gave a brief background of the foundation and its interventions in that part of the country. He continued that, this is is the first time the SLMB Primary School in Rogbesseh is benefiting from the DAQVAH Educational Support, but it’s not the first time the foundation has been supporting NPSE candidates with examination materials in the district. He assured teachers and pupils that his foundation will continue to support the less previledge as long as Allah continues to provide for the foundation.
The focal person for the foundation in Port Loko district, Bro. Ayoub Joaque encouraged the pupils to make good use of the materials and to concentrate on their studies as their teachers will not be there to help them during the exams.
He called on the pupils and their parents to continue to pray for all those that are contributing to the foundation so that Allah will continue to bless them and the foundation in return.
Mr. Kargbo, the Head Teacher of SLMB ROGBESSEH, onbehalf of pupils and parents, thanked the foundation for the materials and called on the CEO and members of the foundation to always remember his school. He further stated that the distribution came at the right time, a time when pupils and parents are finding it very difficult to obtain such materials, especially during these trying times when things are difficult.
Prayers by teachers and pupils climaxed the distribution process.
