Mariam Sedik Kamara serves as the Executive and Finance Director of DAQVAH Charity Foundation, a role she has carried with remarkable dedication, integrity, and excellence. A graduate of Mass Communications, Mariam brought strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills into the foundation from the very beginning of her service. She also holds Diploma in Financial Management for Managers.

About six years ago, DAQVAH faced a major challenge when the organization’s finance manager exited. At a critical moment, Mariam, then serving as Executive Director, accepted the additional responsibility of overseeing the financial affairs of the foundation. What initially appeared to be a demanding dual role soon became a testimony of her capacity, commitment, and resilience.

Over the years, Mariam Sedik Kamara has proven herself to be an outstanding and dependable leader. She has managed the finances of DAQVAH Charity Foundation with transparency, discipline, and accountability, ensuring that resources are used effectively to support the foundation’s humanitarian goals. Under her financial stewardship, DAQVAH has maintained stability and trust among its members, partners, and beneficiaries.

Beyond financial management, Mariam is a passionate fundraiser and a driving force behind the growth of the foundation. She has led numerous fundraising efforts and personally registered hundreds of members into DAQVAH, expanding its reach and strengthening its support base. Her passion for humanitarian service is evident in her tireless commitment to empowering communities and supporting the vulnerable.

Mariam’s leadership is characterized by seriousness, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility. She has bagged several awards for the Admin and Finance Unit as the best performing unit for the last few years.
