DAQVAH Brings Joy and Support to United Blind Muslim Association (UBMA)

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation has again extended a hand of kindness and generosity to the United Blind Muslim Association, continuing its tradition of providing food support during the holy month of Ramadan. The foundation donated essential supplies, including bags of rice, water, and cash, to the association at a distribution event held at Kossoh Town, Jui.

Mariatu Sedik Kamara, the Executive Finance Director of DAQVAH, reiterated the foundation’s unwavering commitment to supporting the association. “This foundation is not new to you. As always, we seen you as our priority. Please accept this donation as all funds were generously contributed by our members and other donors such as Building Our Akhira in the USA through the Empty Bowl Challenge every Ramadan,” she stated during her speech.

The President of the United Blind Muslim Association, Sallieu I. Conteh expressed heartfelt gratitude for DAQVAH’s consistent partnership over the past seven years. “DAQVAH has been steadfast in reaching us, even when we are deemed unreachable. We deeply appreciate their efforts. To the members and donors, I assure you that your contributions are making a real impact. We are proud of everything the foundation has done for us,” he shared.

The distribution event concluded with heartfelt prayers and joyful smiles from the beneficiaries, highlighting the profound impact of DAQVAH’s generosity.

As part of their ongoing efforts, DAQVAH encourages donations to the “Fill a Bowl, Feed a Soul” Empty Bowl Challenge initiative. A minimum contribution of Le 50 can help ensure that more individuals in need are supported during this sacred month.
