DAQVAH Charity Foundation has donated bags of rice, bundles of water and cash to the Fourah Bay College Muslim Jamaat through its Empty Bowl Challenge fundraising drive.
Speaking during the distribution, the CEO and founder, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, introduced the team and informed them that they visited the Jamaat to give support to students who will be on campus until it’s time to break their fast. He acknowledged that these are trying times and that life on campus is tough even outside Ramadan. He concluded by asking the Jamaat to remember the foundation in their prayers so they can do more.

Abdul Razack Gbla, the Chief Imam of the Jamaat started by saying that whenever someone hears about Charity, DAQVAH comes to mind and that whenever someone hears about DAQVAH, charity comes to mind. He added that the Jamaat is not surprised as it was not the first time DAQVAH was reaching out to the university. “We do appreciate these gifts and we ask Allah to continue to provide for you and those supporting you,” he ended.

The distribution ended successfully with a lot of supplication.
