Members of the United Muslim Blind Association converged to benefit from the distribution of bags of rice, bundles of water and cash donations from the DAQVAH Charity Foundation Ramadan Feeding program at their residence at Kossoh Town.
The Project Manager, Yussouf Abass Jalloh said that the distribution was from donors who participated in the Empty Bowl Challenge fundraising and donated at least Le 40. He said that the United Muslim Blind Association is one key group that DAQVAH will not leave behind when implementing such a project. Adding that DAQVAH decided to reach out to their association so that they will also benefit from the distribution as the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, the blind people should not be neglected.

Sallieu Conteh, the president for the United Muslim Blind Association, expressed thanks and appreciation to DAQVAH for always coming through for them. “Receiving these items, we are extremely happy, as at yesterday one of us went to purchase a cup of rice and the price is Le 5 and the trader mentioned that there will be an increment today. We pray that Allah continues to provide for you and those supporting you so that you will continue to support us and other people. May Allah unite us till Jannah” he concluded.
NB: To support the foundation in reaching out to more needy Muslims in the most hard- to- reach communities in this month of Ramadan, please send your donations to +23276363131 or +23290363131. May Allah reward you abundantly Ameen.
