As DAQVAH Charity Foundation staff were having their usual weekly Monday staff meeting, they were surprised by a special guest, Madam Saibatu Mansaray, who has been one of DAQVAH’s strong supporters and decided to join the meeting to familiarize with staff and the work of the foundation.

The CEO, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh welcomed her and a personal introduction was done by all staff. The meeting continued with updates from various teams. The CEO updated the team that for the 1st Quarter the team has hit 20.8% of it’s membership subscription collection goal, which he said was good but more efforts needed to hit 25% each Quarter.

He again welcomed Madam Saibatu and gave her a brief background of the foundation, its various operational Units and areas of interventions.

In her response, the special guest, Madam Saibatu said that she was truly happy to be at DAQVAH’s office as she believed that it is one of the organisations that has stood out and has proven to be outstanding and sustainable. “I have been seeing the update online so I decided to come and see what the foundation is all about”, she added. She further said that she was officially offering her support to DAQVAH and that she will be happy to help out using any of her expertise. “Hearing you speaking English here is impressive, and I am super proud of your organisation, she commended.

The CEO thanked Madam Saibatu Mansaray for the visit as he and his team were extremely happy and impressed to have her onboard as the goal is Jannah and he asked Allah to grant all Jannah.

The meeting ended with a lunch break served by Madam Saibatu for all staff.

Today’s meeting was chaired by Mariatu Sedik Kamara, the Executive and Finance Director .
