DAQVAH has implemented its usual Ramadan Caravan Feeding Program on the 5th April, 2024 to mark the last Jumah of Ramadan program.
The iftar benefited 250 Muslims at Jui and Wilberforce (Bottom Mango). A number of food items including packs of rice, water and drinks were distributed from the DAQVAH Charity Foundation Caravan Feeding program.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation, the Programs team reiterated that the purpose of the distribution is to provide iftar for many needy Muslims who find it difficult to get food during the time of breaking fast. “Many would not have the chance to buy food or get extra cash and therefore providing a prepared package of food, drinks and water is essential in helping them to break their fast before reaching their destination,” said the Programs Officer, Hawa Conteh.

Muslims who were in their vehicles to their various destinations including hawkers were happy to receive the packages as they said the food provided will aid them in breaking their fast.
Recipients were happy to recieve the food packages. Lot of prayers were made for the donors, for continued support and the Foundation as well.
The distribution ended successfully in both locations.
The funders of the last Caravan Feeding implementation are those who participated in the Empty Bowl Challenge that is targeting every Muslim to donate at least Le 40 to feed a fasting person during this blessed month of Ramadan.
