DAQVAH Monday Staff Meeting: Embracing Growth, Welcoming Interns, and Advancing Anniversary Plans

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation held its regular Monday staff meeting on July 7th, 2025, in the staff meeting room. The session was chaired by the Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, who opened the gathering by praising and thanking Allah (SWT) for continued blessings and guidance.

A key highlight of the meeting was the warm welcome extended to four student interns from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM). Alhaji Jalloh formally introduced the interns to the DAQVAH family, encouring them to embrace their time with the foundation with dedication and open-mindedness. “This is a home. If you give it your all, you will achieve many things,” he stated, underscoring DAQVAH’s commitment to capacity building. He further assured the interns that they would be enrolled in relevant short courses during their stay to enhance their professional portfolios to continue to build their capacity.

Attention then shifted to strategic updates on DAQVAH’s upcoming 10th Anniversary Celebration. The CEO emphasized the importance of active staff engagement, announcing the assignment of tasks to committee members to ensure smooth planning and execution.

On the subject of fundraising for the anniversary, Alhaji Jalloh urged staff to intensify their efforts in reaching out to potential donors to help the foundation meet its set targets. He reminded the team that the collective dedication of all members is key to the campaign’s success.

Finally, significant updates were shared regarding the Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards. Extensive plans were discussed to ensure the event reflects the foundation’s values and achievements. Staff members were tasked to complete patron distribution within the month, and were officially informed that the 100-day countdown to the event will commence on Thursday, July 10th, 2025.
