
The JASBAH Ladies, a charity Fullah sisters organization who are dedicated to supporting orphans and widows in different communities, has on Thursday 21st April 2022 in collaboration with DAQVAH Charity Foundation donated bags of rice and cash to Orphanages.
The donation of bags of rice and cash started at the Madrassatul Hira, Mambo, an Islamic memorization center and orphanage home that caters for vulnerable children. The donation ended at the Al Abass Center (Ansarul Islamic Orphanage) at Deep Eye Water.
Sis Jamilatu Jalloh, the representative from JASBAH Sisters mentioned that as part of their main goal is to ensure they respond to the needs of orphans and widows, therefore they see it as an obligation to make some donations especially in the blessed month of Ramadan. She concluded that JASBAH Sisters hope to continue supporting orphanages and widows on a regular basis.
Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, the CEO and founder of DAQVAH Charity Foundation noted that DAQVAH is honored to serve as an implementing partner with JASBAH Sisters, stressing that collaboration is key in achieving development. He said that as an organization they will also continue to reach out to the vulnerable and urged the heads of the orphanages to utilize what was donated for it intended purpose.

Shk. Ibrahim, a teacher at Madrassatul Hira commended the JASBAH Sisters for their thoughtful initiative and donation. He said that the foundation is really in need of food and that the bags of rice and cash distributed will go a long way in providing for the children.
The distribution in each location ended with a duah (supplication).
