One of the commitments made by DAQVAH Charity Foundation Board Chair, Dr. Ahmad Ramadan Jalloh during the first Board Meeting was to pay a visit at the foundation’s office located at 9 Main Bass Street, Brookfields. On Tuesday, 1st November 2022, Dr. Ramadan fulfilled his commitment and met with staff members of the foundation.

During his visit, Dr. Ramadan went round various units and met with staff from the Programs, Design & Monitoring, Outreach, Communications, Admin and Finance Units and the Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) office. After a brief tour within the various units, he held a meeting with the CEO, the Executive/Finance Director and the Data & Research Manager. He started by saying that since the first Board Meeting was held, he was impressed with the presentations made about the work of the foundation and that he believes that DAQVAH is running a whole government with all its administrative procedures. “As a Board Chair, I don’t just want to be updated rather I want to get involved and contribute meaningfully,” he stated. He added that he has made so many observations which he promised to engage other Board Members to further discuss in improving the work of the foundation.

The Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, thanked Dr. Ramadan for visiting. “We spent a lot of time just to select a board and our choice of you being the chair is not a regrettable one as we know that your intervention will help improve the work we do,” he ended.
