
Monday the 30th June, DAQVAH Charity Foundation convened its routine weekly staff meeting at the organization’s central meeting room, chaired by Programs Manager Yussouf Abass Jalloh. The session brought together core team members to review progress, align on key initiatives, and energize upcoming activities.

In a reflective and purpose-driven segment, Executive Finance Director Mariatu Sedik Kamara opened her remarks by expressing gratitude to Allah for the blessing of life and the opportunity to serve. She underscored the significance of the foundation’s journey since its inception, encouraging the team to thoughtfully commemorate DAQVAH’s milestones while keeping a clear eye on future aspirations.
She also issued a timely reminder to unit heads to finalize their presentation slides in preparation for the arrival of incoming interns—a strategic step toward deepening institutional learning and engagement.
Turning to the highly anticipated Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards, Madam Kamara called on all staff to intensify their involvement in reaching out to more people. “This 10th Anniversary is not just a milestone it’s a moment to reflect, recognize and rally even greater support” she added. The EFD further emphasized the importance of aligning with each committee’s work plan and delivering on outlined goals set, urging everyone to participate actively and embody the sprit of team building and collaboration.

The meeting concluded on a note of shared determination, with the team reaffirming its dedication to DAQVAH’s mission of community empowerment and impactful service.
